We just got back from an amazing stay at the Renaissance Suites in Aruba, and I can’t stop raving about it. The suites have recently been renovated, and they’re gorgeous – modern, super comfortable, and the perfect place to unwind. The spa was also a fantastic escape – so relaxing and just what I needed.
But honestly, what really made our trip special was Lucy at the Fresco restaurant. We had breakfast there every morning, and from day one, Lucy just blew us away with her kindness and warmth. She greeted us with the biggest smile every morning and somehow always knew exactly what we needed – it felt like being taken care of by family. Lucy has such a positive energy that it instantly put us in a good mood and made every morning feel extra special. She’s truly one of a kind, and I can’t thank her enough for making our vacation unforgettable.
If I had one small wish, it would be for the suites to be adults-only. I’m not really a fan of having kids around when I’m trying to relax, but that’s just me. Honestly, though, Lucy’s incredible service made it easy to overlook. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and we’ll...
Read moreWhile in Aruba for our honeymoon, we had dinner here and such a pleasurable experience from start to finish. We made a reservation for 5:45 which gave us enough time to get settled in and enjoy the sunset while we dined. Our server Paulo was truly one of the best servers we’ve ever had. He was so present, grounded, and informative about the menu and Aruba itself. We enjoyed the Arancini and meatball appetizers. For the main course, my husband had the lasagna and I had their scallop risotto. Both were delicious! Our night was made special by a complimentary glass of champagne to celebrate our honeymoon as well as limoncello. We will absolutely be returning to try other menu items and their desserts. The open-air restaurant is located next to a family-friendly resort’s pool area, so if you don’t mind a bit of noise from that, you will very much enjoy this space. Thank you to everyone at Fresco for giving us such a special...
Read moreWe were staying at the Renaissance Ocean and had spent the day on the private island. We did not feel like adventuring out to eat. We tend to not eat at a resort as the food is never that great and always expensive. We did not have a reservation and the host acted like that was an issue but then stated "we will let you eat anyway". Many open tables when we arrive at 8pm. Menu is up to date on the Renaissance website. Limited starter menu and no salads. We got the Polpette (meatballs) to start. Then the Linguini del mare & Peto di pollo Parmigiana for our entrees. Also serve bread, that you get to choose your oils. That was a nice touch. The linguini was mostly shrimp, only one scallop and two clams. The sauce was nice and not heavy. Staff was to the point but attentive. Food delivery was faster than many other places on the island. Overall a decent meal. For those staying at the Renaissance it is a...
