Upon entering the restaurant, my mother and i were greeted by a hostess who asked for her name and phone number. My mother gave her name and phone number (twice as the hostess seemed confused by the phone number area code). I found it odd that there was no one seated at the restaurant and that the hostess was asking for her phone number/name as this is usually done for when there is a wait time to sit. The hostess again asked my mother for her phone number and my mother proceeded to say “is this necessary as it doesn’t work? (we are not from the island of Aruba) is it possible to sit and dine?” Another hostess/waitress wandered into the conversation and stated that it was protocol to ask for phone numbers. She said okay, repeated her phone number and we were sat down with menus. As my mother and I are looking over the menus, the waitress that wandered into the conversation, started to replay the conversation in Spanish to a gentleman I am assuming was her manager. Although we are from America, we understand a bit of Spanish and this waitress had told the manager that my mother refused to give them a phone number and was proceeding to show him how my mother acted by stomping her leg and throwing her arms. My mother in no way shape or form threw a tantrum nor did she refuse to give her phone number. My mother said excuse me, that is not what happened, i understood everything you just said and the waitresses eyes widened, as she did not expect for us to be able to understand her nor be able to catch her spewing false accusations. It was extremely unprofessional, racist and my mother and i left before even...

My partner and I recently dined at P.F. Chang's in Aruba and were pleasantly surprised by our experience.
Highlights:
Excellent service: The staff was attentive and helpful, including a manager who went out of their way to make sure we had a great experience. This is especially noteworthy as some reviews mention less-than-attentive service. Impressive gluten-free options: We were particularly impressed with the selection of gluten-free dishes and the staff's knowledge of dietary restrictions. Our server was well-trained and ensured our food was prepared carefully. Delicious food: We enjoyed the wasabi-infused lettuce wraps appetizer, the Mongolian beef, and the P.F. Chang's Signature chicken (all gluten-free). The portions were generous and allowed us to share some and take leftovers home. Cleanliness: The restaurant was clean and well-maintained. Parking: Ample parking was available. Considerations:
Kung Pao Chicken: Unfortunately, the Kung Pao Chicken is not gluten-free, as we discovered after ordering. It would be helpful if the menu clearly marked items containing gluten. Overall:
P.F. Chang's in Aruba exceeded our expectations for a chain restaurant. The friendly and knowledgeable staff, delicious gluten-free options, and clean environment made for a great dining experience. We recommend it to anyone seeking a reliable and enjoyable meal in Aruba, especially if they have dietary...
Read moreMy partner and I had dinner here before seeing a film Saturday evening. We arrived without reservations and were seated within 2-3mins. We chose to sit in their outdoor section which had a great atmosphere with plenty of space for social distancing.
Along with Plum Wine, we enjoyed vegetable Spring Rolls and a California Roll for starters. The sushi tasted great and was fresh - although the guy that poured the soy sauce was a bit stingy lol. I wish he had left the soy sauce on the table to pour myself. The Spring Rolls were also great and I really enjoyed whatever the crispy fried stuff it sits on.
For mains we shared vegetable fried rice and noodles. I wish the fried rice had had just a few more vegetables, but it tasted good so no worries. The noodles, however, were amazing and I really enjoyed them! Truthfully wish I had ordered more lol!
Service was okay, we definitely were seated quickly by the nice people at the front. However, our starters were brought out without any silverware or chopsticks. I had to go hunt down someone to bring out plates and silverware. Not a huge deal, but for the price you'd expect to have silverware when your food arrives.
Overall we had a great date night at P.F. Chang's and I would consider coming back if I was craving a fancy Chinese in Aruba. Oh, and definitely get those...
