De Vrienden Live — Restaurant in Rotterdam

Had a terrible experience yesterday- arrived at the outdoor terrace and was seated immediately, which was great! It took about 15-20 minutes for the waiter to come take our order- they seemed busy so this was also okay. We ordered two drinks and one food item to share, and approximately 15 minutes later one drink arrived. As the other drink didn't arrive for another 15 minutes we stood up to ask our waiter if it was coming and he said it was. Another 15 minutes pass and it didn't, so I stood up yet again to ask the waiter if it was coming as I saw multiple tables nearby receiving trays of drinks and was confused why a single tap beer was taking over half an hour when the other cocktail had been delivered. The waiter then said the drink was "coming" but he was too busy to get it himself, and another older female waitress thankfully got it for it. We were there for maybe another hour and the waiter never came back and the food never came. When it came time to pay, as it turns out the waiter had only inputted one drink, not the food item or other drink. A different waitress gave us our bill and was kind/apologetic but the service from our initial waiter was honestly terrible. He didn't seem to care at all and I don't think he should have just been telling us the drink was coming for ages when it really wasn't, especially when it was a drink that takes 5 seconds to pour...

I’ve been there twice. Both experiences were really bad, like the worst of any clubbing experience of all times. The first time they charged for entrance, bag storage, and toilet; the drinks were only half glass full, expensive, and tasted really bad. I went there last night again with a group of ppl because we ran out of choices. I went out to smoke at some point, and when I was walking in, the guard stopped me from going in because he thought I was too drunk. I was fine and I was even watching our drinks inside while my friends were dancing. After my Dutch friends talked with him, he let me in, and nothing went wrong. I didn’t do any harm to ppl and didn’t hurt myself (come on I’m a girl of 160cm height and with a large group of ppl). First time I ever got stopped from going into a club, which I already paid for, and where the main activity is drinking, because I looked too drunk (I really don’t believe so). Saying that I am dissapointed is a quite polite way to express my frustration. So a CEO of a world famous Uebani Consulting BV firm came with his best colleagues to have a drink and a dinner. Despite on the fact that , a small piece of salmon with a little of salad and potatoes costs above 20 euros, (while in Dirk you can buy it for 2.50), the waiters were very slow and unhappy. Fortunately, all the waiters have batches with their names and surnames. So out waiter´s name is Grigoriy Naumenko.
