We stopped at 555 Coffee Cycling Culture while on a two-week bike tour and it was an absolute highlight. The coffee is excellent (with lots of milk alternatives), the cakes and snacks are delicious, and the space itself is full of character with cycling gear and bikes all around. Also plenty of seating both inside and outside.
The owner is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. He went above and beyond by offering us a safe and secure spot to store our bikes in Rotterdam, which we were really grateful for. It made such a difference to know our bikes were looked after while we explored.
It is a brilliant local spot and a great example of Rotterdam’s cycling culture. Whether you are looking for a top-quality coffee, a chat about bikes, or just a cool community space, this place is well worth a visit.
Highly recommend for cyclists and coffee...

We sat outside to drink the coffee (the place was completely empty) and while we were there, he approached us to lecture us because one of us was drinking from a bottle of water that we didn’t buy in his overpriced store. We left when he was telling us that it would be better for us to go to McDonald’s instead. Super rude and completely unnecessary. Don’t go...
