As a Korean, I give this restaurant 4 stars. The atmosphere was very hip and the waiters were very friendly. About the food, the meats were delicious and it is very accessible to non-koreans (not as spicy, or as varied). But some food such as kimchi pancake can be improved. Cold noodle and kalbitang were amazing. This place is packed so make sure to reserve in advance. The owner asked for feedback and recommendations before I left the place, which was very nice. He was very eager to listen to customers' opinion and adapt accordingly. I like his spirit and I will definitely go back to see how he improves things. The time limit is rather short, make sure you order quickly and start grill the meat immediately as a group. I was with 3 other friends and we had to rush towards the end. I understand that it's difficult to balance between needs of Korean and non-korean customers. Perhaps more clear description in the menu could be helpful for non-korean customers. To make korean customers more happy, have a very spicy sauce at the table as an option (ssamjang and spicy gochujang). There was a spicy sauce but it was very bland (targeted towards non-koreans). The ventilation in the restaurant could be better since my clothes smell like bbq afterwards. There is ventilation everywhere but simply cannot catch up with everyone bbqing. Price is decent considering it's all you can eat and there are lots of choices. Overall, it was a good experience and I'm happy that there's finally a proper korean bbq place in the...
Read moreIf you're a fan of the Korean barbecue experience, then this is definitely worth a visit. This restaurant offers a wide variety of meats, veggies, and sides that are perfect for grilling right at your table. You have a little glitchy tablet from which you can order every 10 minutes. It does have a cooldown between orders. The meat was fresh and flavorful, with a variety of options to choose from including beef, chicken and lamb. The staff were helpful with the tablet in the beginning. Please note that rice and lettuce have to be ordered from the tablet.
While the food was top-notch, the dining experience was a bit cramped. The restaurant was packed with people, and there was not a lot of room between the tables. This can make it feel a bit crowded and chaotic, especially during peak dining hours. The tables are small as well. That being said, the atmosphere was still very enjoyable. The decor is stylish and modern, with a lively vibe that's perfect for groups. The prices are on the higher end but for an all you can eat spot, they were ok.
Overall, if you're looking for a fun and delicious Korean barbecue experience in Rotterdam with friends it is definitely worth checking out. While the crowds can be a bit overwhelming at times, the food and atmosphere make up for it. The bathrooms were...
Read moreNoisy limited place with unrespectful service. 1.Unfair service. At the very beginning, when we just sit down, we very respectfully asked "can we move to the table near the window?" but they rejected us. We were fine with that. Buut finally we saw a couple who are not Asian moved all of their dishes and drinks from another table to there. Well I didn't want to say "Are they racist? Is it because of our yellow color and respectful gentle attitude, so they think that we can be unrespectully treated?" Noisy interior and limited space.Table is too limited for two people. If you order more than 4 super small plate dishes(each plate is only around 5 cm*15cm), your table will be full. And no place to put your bag. Keep giving us wrong dishes. We order beef but finally get fish. We ordered nothing but gave us several dishes from another table.
Keep urging people to leave. First I have to say we only have stayed here for only one hour. And we knew that this table can only be used before 8pm. Well, before 7 pm, we were still eating deserts, but we already have been asked 3 times," have you finished eating?" Just at this moment, we are asked for the 4th time that whether we have finished. Well we will leave soon, thank you and we will never...
