This is a tiny restaurant with high quality food. The restaurant is not very big, it is decorated in a nice way. It helps that it has a high ceeling. Although it isn't big, you don't feel it is over crowded, there is enough space between the tables. The menu is clear, they specialize in noodles. The quality of the dishes is high, with nice fresh ingredients added. The base of the meals are the noodles soups, but half the menu is filled with small starters (dim sum style); the taste of those is also very good. I especially like the good explanations with entries on the menu. Staff is very friendly and helpfull. They give you time and space to choose and to eat. They also take the extra step to make you feel comfortable or the explain details about the menu. A change asked for in a dish is made without hasitation in the way the customer wants it. The flavours of the dishes are great. Spicy is spicy, but not in a blunt way. The side-dishes (starters) are great. It is not a cheap place, the the quality for value ratio is very good. Still, they don't get a highers score than 3 stars, as they charge you for tap-water. This is not acceptable, but the staff thinks this is normal. Good thing about it is that they clearly advertise it...
Read moreDuring a lunch visit to Noo Me, we were pleasantly accommodated without a reservation, with a lovely table near the window. The steamy Bao Buns we started with were wonderfully cooked and fresh, though a sauce accompaniment would have been a delightful addition. The highlight was the 'pho-bulous me' soup, which was both flavorful and satisfyingly portioned, making the total bill of 51.35 euros (drinks included) quite reasonable.
The restaurant's atmosphere, rich with Asian cultural details, enhanced our dining experience, while the exceptional hospitality of the host made us feel truly welcome. I highly recommend Noo Me for anyone seeking to explore Asian cuisine, and I look forward to...
Read moreWe went to Noo.Me with two people and thoroughly enjoyed our evening here. We ordered the Noo.Meat Laksa noodle soup and the crispy veggie spring rolls. When the food came, the waiter noted that we both wore a white top and offered us plastic aprons to prevent us from spilling the soup onto our clothing. They also served us sweet sesame balls on the house, as if they knew those were our favourites! The food was delightful, the laksa had a very rich broth, the spring rolls were nice and spicy and the sesame balls were everything we had hoped for. Certainly a place to return to! (Also considering that we had a hard time choosing between all the delightful items on...
