The food was pretty good. Good taste and good quality. The only problem with pizza was that as you can see in the picture, all slices of ham are concentrated in one area which is weird. But still it was a delicious pizza.
But, the main point of going to a restaurant is the hospitality as everyone know. Otherwise, why would someone pay 17 euros for a pizza that you can make at home for 5 ?
And that’s exactly where this restaurant falls short. Service and hospitality were terrible.
There was no hand washing soap in the toilet and I informed the the guy with curly brown hair about it and his response was “OK” while he turned his head away like he was offended by me.
I told it then to the the blond girl and she said it very nicely that she will take care of it (she was the only nice person I saw in this restaurant)
Then I go to the toilet again and nothing!
I told it to the curly boy and he suddenly got triggered and was telling me that I told them 3 times and he got mad at me for asking them to put hand washing soap.
He told me in the most serious way that “It is not my responsibility”.
There were two guys with curly hair and they were both terrible at their job. Specially the one with brown hair.
As a person who has worked in Horeca for a couple of years, I would definitely fire the brown hair one for being so irresponsible and so rude to a customer.
My suggestion to management is to hire more staff and make sure the staff understand what is “hospitality”. Because this kind of damage is irreversible. And I suggest to not to hire spoiled children with the “it is not my responsibility, so I don’t care” mentality. Not only these kids will not go that far in their own career with this level of ignorance and narcissism, but they will also take your restaurant down with themselves. Cause they don’t care about me, you, or anyone else. To them that 14 euros per hour is all that matters.
Also, please give some fat bonus to that blond girl (I think she was Irish). Her interactions were the only nice thing that me and my family will remember from...
Read moreTheir pizzas are genuinely one of my favourite in all of rotterdam! I do suggest if you want to try them go get take away instead of dining in.
Its the second time we’ve been there, and both times were the same, bare in mind it was NEVER peak time… both days there was a max of 4 tables. Its starts amazing, the food comes out perfect; the serving, up till then is amazing.. but then it feels like you become a ghost for the servers.
We had empty plates on our table for 40 minutes…. which it wouldn’t be that big of a deal if the place was busy (not saying that at the time they werent, because there was a lot of take aways in place) BUT SPECIFICALLY it wouldnt be an issue if we were acknoledge at any point after we were served the food. I am not exaggerating, we tried making contact with the server for 40 MINUTES. 40 minutes that our entire table was turned around looking for the one server. she even came to the tables next to us and wasn’t able to look up and see if we needed anything at all?????? sorry if im repeating myself but 40 MINUTES to get the servers attention on a nearly empty...
Read moreWe had the pizza and a carafe of red wine, as well as the tiramisu to share. The pizzas were nice, we had the Quattro stagioni and the Margherita with some nduja on top. Nothing special, just good quality neapolitan-style pizza. The 4s pizza was a bit strange because only one quarter had cheese on it, which I've never seen before. The red wine was good and we got around 4 glasses out of the carafe, good value for money. Their tiramisu was the best part. Having eaten and made many tiramisus myself, theirs is great! Great flavor, texture, and very creamy and just the right amount of coffee and sweetness. I like that at the end they give you a pin with their logo and some nice chocolate candy instead of the traditional mints. The restaurent is very warm because of the pizza ovens (at least we sat downstairs near the kitchen), I was thankful every time someone opened the door to get...
