Sherlock's place — Restaurant in Rotterdam

I went to this little cafe looking for a beautiful place to bask in the sun and drink a coffee and I’m so glad that fate brought me here. As soon as I walked in I knew I was going to have an above average cappuccino but I never expected the work of art that came out, I decided to Drink this coffee slowly first by eating the foam with a spoon and each time it felt like loving tender kisses from an angel, when I eventually finished the foam it was to the base of the drink now the coffee... the bean was roasted to perfection I can’t even remember the last time I had a coffee taste so smooth and flavoursome, I savoured every drop yet still the bottom of the cup came too soon. I wrestled for 5 minutes with the temptation of ruining the rest of my day with coffee induced diarrhoea just so I could taste...

Have been coming here for years. Awesome place, friendly owner, and the café's in a cosy and scenic spot right next to the gorgeous St Lawrence Church. They no longer sell sandwiches or salads and have shifted their focus to coffee. They do have a very wide selection of delicious Monin-based drinks. Tons of flavours for lattes, iced or hot, always served with a salted caramel treat. They do still sell sweets - cheesecake, apple pie, carrot cake. Truly the hidden gem of Rotterdam. I discovered this place accidently while looking for new places to try on the food delivery app and it is now my favorite cafe in the area. I've been ordering pretty much every week for the last 3 months now and finally their patio area is open to go eat in person. Everything on the menu is delicious, but definitely try the Moriarty sandwich (delicious cheese, toasted bread, sauce... it doesnt get any better!) And the chai latte. And any of their desserts. Basically just try anything and you'll love it. The location doesnt get any better either....
