I drove all the way from Amsterdam this week just to sink my teeth into some authentic Lebanese man’oushe at Zayt & Zaatar —and OMG, it was seriously worth it. I tried the man’oushe, lahm-e-bajin, spinach man’oushe, Knefa and more ( Yes I ate too much LOL and brought home with me )… everything was just so incredibly tasty, hitting that real, real Lebanese taste I’ve been craving in the Netherlands for so long.
I’m a picky eater, but this was the ultimate food moment—pure, simple, tasty, and totally satisfying ( walaaa atyab menhek) . The service? Absolutely fantastic. The shop is small and cozy, and the vibe is so warm. The people working there were always smiling, and the owner? Legendary. I truly can’t find the right words to express how good everything was.
Reading other reviews, folks say the freshly made Lebanese flatbreads, the cozy atmosphere, and the friendly staff really shine , and yeah, they nailed it. Zayt & Zaatar is legit the kind of place you stroll into and instantly feel welcomed , like a favorite hidden gem in Rotterdam you didn't know you needed!!
My advice? Dont wait too long as i did and don’t sleep on this one. If you’re craving true authentic Lebanese man’oushe that hits both your heart and your taste buds, this is your spot. Highly, highly recommend! Will definitely be back again and again! Rotterdam is lucky to have a ...

May god protect that place and they should expand if they can.
Whomever works, cooks and serves there! They all are awesome! And of course they are very helpful yeah the girls at the cashier are very calm and they respond to any questions you think of/about the food.

Read moreI recently dined at Zayt w Zaatar and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the food quality was excellent. We ordered the traditional Arabic manaeesh with zaatar and cheese, and both were delicious, just as depicted in the photos. However, the service left much to be desired. When I requested tea, I was told to help myself from a corner that had hot water and tea bags. Unfortunately, the water was not hot, which was disappointing. While the food was fantastic, the self-service tea setup and the lukewarm water detracted from the overall experience. Improvements in service would make this restaurant truly...
