It was Oct 2004 and I, as 20-something yr old had left my home Melbourne, packed up my life and found myself a contract working for a BlueChip company in The Hague for a month. I found a B&B in the streets close to this bar and inevitably found myself here. As a lone female, I didn't tend to drink in bars on my own so only made it here a few times when friends came for a visit (as Aussie backpackers do!). You'll never know how fond of this place I am, the special place it has in my heart. The fantastic night here with a friend chatting and drinking, catching up on our adventures. It really is a lovely small and characterful place serving a wonderous selection. I've not seen this place in the summertime but I will be back one day with my kids....
