Bierspeciaal Café De Paas — Restaurant in The Hague

It was Oct 2004 and I, as 20-something yr old had left my home Melbourne, packed up my life and found myself a contract working for a BlueChip company in The Hague for a month. I found a B&B in the streets close to this bar and inevitably found myself here. As a lone female, I didn't tend to drink in bars on my own so only made it here a few times when friends came for a visit (as Aussie backpackers do!). You'll never know how fond of this place I am, the special place it has in my heart. The fantastic night here with a friend chatting and drinking, catching up on our adventures. It really is a lovely small and characterful place serving a wonderous selection. I've not seen this place in the summertime but I will be back one day with my kids....

Best beer place I have been to in a long time and I was born and raised in Munich bavaria! Super good personnel with good recommendations on beers and lot's of background knowledge. Careful atgention to the most appropriate presentation of all different beer types always coming in the correct glas, never compromising speed and cost awareness over proper authentic presentation. A beer specialist café with a terrace and boat terrace. If you are a beer connoisseur, this is the place to come. That is almost all you will find on the menu. Some nuts and breadsticks are served with the drinks.

If you do not drink alcohol. There are soft drinks and ginger and mint tea options. The menu has limited food options.
