I went to this place with a friend since he had heard good reviews about it. I just ordered a Bruschetta, I was not very hungry, the menu said it came with Burratta and cherry tomatoes. The dish was 11€, quite pricey for a starter but ok. When they brought the plate I couldn’t believe my eyes. There were literally 6 cherry tomatoes cutted in halves with 2 tiny pieces of Burratta ( when I say tiny i mean tiny like, 1 cm max) on a boring standard piece of toast. What?? 11€ for that? Bouzy Wine & Bar 🍷 was definitely on my list to try, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a big disappointment. The service was neither cordial nor attentive. I sat for over 30 minutes before anyone came to take my order. At a proper wine bar, I expect more attention to detail: recommendations, guidance, or at least the chance to taste before committing. It's the first time that I'm in a wine bar where glasses of wine aren't pouring in front of the customer. We ordered two glasses, and the waiter came from the kitchen with the wines already poured. Weird. We made a comment, and the waitress response was that that was their procedure, following the boss's instructions. Tip: Professional wine servers are taught to pour the bottle in their dominant hand, with the label facing out, so your guests can see what's being poured.
