Hard to seperate a favourite dish - they were all excellent. Fresh ingredients well cooked and lovingly assembled to form a taste sensation equal to many Michelin restaurants we've dined at.
A delightful little chef's Amuse Bouche, prepared our palletes for the 2x rosti bites of Langoustine and Veal Tartare - All Delicious!
The scallops and pork belly were sensational. . The scallops lay languid and unassuming in a Dutch Shrimp Sauce highlited by fennel and lime leaf but in combination they werw sensational.
The Pork belly, perfectly roasted and tender with an amazing smoked beetroot and equally smoky horseradish sauce lifted it to another level.
Mains consisted of a Duck breast and a Zucchini flower . The Duck breast was cooked to a beautiful pink "Goldilocks" degree i.e. not too rare and not too well done, just right. Delicious and moreish with the Beaujolais from the "Best wines under €66".
The Zucchini flower was, again, perfectly respected and contained a light ricotta stuffing that was perfect with the yellow lentil puree and tomato hollandaise. A light but inspired and tasty combination to finish on.
Service and ambiance can't be faulted, friendly, knowledgeable and engaged with their clients we really enjoyed the welcoming family/village vibe and have been back to their little sister (Bouzy Wine Bar) every night of our stay in The Hague because we just can't fault it or beat it.
Thanks to the whole team (front and back of house) that made such a memorable and enjoyable dining experience for first time Den Haag visitors who will...

The service is always great, really friendly and attentive. I keep coming back for the sea bass seviche and the plaice—both are absolutely delicious. They’ve also got an impressive wine list, with options for pretty much any budget. Plus, there’s a nice selection of wines by the glass, which I...
Read moreA restaurant connected to a wine bar, so the wine list is extensive. Combined with great cooking skills you're in for a great night out; enhanced by the service that is professional but also informal, adding to the bistroesque setting. The food menu might seem modest but is original and varied enough to offer something to...
