De Bok — Restaurant in The Hague

We spent over 20days travelling around different countries in Europe, dining everywhere from The Netherlands to, France, Switzerland, Italy and Germany, but our dinner at DE BOK was the best and most memorable one, definitely won our hearts. Rachele was incredible. She is such a lovely person. We lived so far away yet somehow she made us feel so at home. ❤️ The place was so cozy and has so much character that you can observe every corner of De Bok for hours and appreciate each piece of decor they put up. You can feel the story behind. The food was good I could still remember the taste and texture even up to now that I’m back home. I hope I can come back to The Netherlands again as I will DEFINITELY make a stop at De Bok for another lovely dinner...

This restaurant took me back to Dublin big time. The interior is beyond charming and I could get lost in there for hours with a couple Irish coffees by my side. I hoped the food would match this lovely place but it did disappoint me. The crisps are quite nice but the fish still had the taste of the freezer in it and the texture was quite unpleasant. What an amazing place to dine or to just have drinks. The atmosphere is unique, the wood and soft lighting really give you that feeling of being in a warm, cozy pub. This warm feeling is amplified by the pleasant and personable hostess, who somehow managed to remember us even after not having been there for almost a year.
