Hawaii Poké Bowl — Restaurant in The Hague

I’m very sad to update this review with much less nice rating. My husband and I order at this place so often, but we will stop doing so. Recently the couple of experiences we had with ruined orders and extremely rude staff has shocked us in contrast of what we know of this place. Some bowls were inedible because of the amount of black pepper thrown into it that ruined the bowl, or by being soaked in wasabi mayonaise. Even when we called they said the chef might have made a mistake but there was nothing they could do. Other times our orders got canceled with no further message or phone call like they used to do when something runs out of stock. Again after calling to ask about our newly placed order we got treated so badly by a very rude lady who just hung up the phone! She was very annoyed by our question with our new order. We will miss the place as it used to be.

The best poke bowl place in town. The portions and toppings are very generous and it is so tasty! We have their poke bowls so often and once they gave us a wrong order and they handled it very well by giving us two free meals for a next time! 100%...

I usually always order poke bowl from here to my house but occasionally go to their place. The food is good and one of the best pokes in The Hague that you can get for that price (still expensive but not like other poke places) . With this review I want to talk about this one time we were asked to wait at the table because the order system had changed. Me and my friend waited for 20 at the table and when we asked, they gave a vague response and proceeded to work on order which were pilling up. After 10 of standing there, the staff told me I was supposed to order at the counter. When I told them that it was not clear, and unprofessional to treat their customers this way, they proceeded to blame me for not understanding their instructions and were happy to see us leave. I ordered 1 pokeritta which only had 3 ingredients salmon and avocado with spicy mayo on the side. it took approx 30 mins to do it and they only rushed it because I had complained about waiting 23 mins and i needed to leave because i have a train to catch. When they brought in the order, the rice wasn't properly cooked and still hard. I asked them if they had tasted the rice before serving it, they said no but they said the chef didnt cook the white properly. They offered to replace the order with brown rice. I said no and i asked for a refund which they provided. Other than the very slow service, I honestly have issues they knew the rice wasn't properly cooked but they continued to serve it anyway to...
