Update to old review: After my old review, Moong has not only addressed the issue but also made every effort to rectify the situation and provide bubble tea above my expectations. I am happy to say the bubble tea is back to their exceptional standards and I am back to being a regular customer there! A big thank you to the Moong staff and management for being not only diligent with their customers but also considerate, patient and detail oriented :)
Old review: I used to visit Moong regularly since their opening and have loved their bubble teas, however my last visit was more than disappointing. The Jasmine Bubble Milk Tea that I ordered always used to be just right, however this time it was not sweet whatsoever and was quite bitter. I asked for the staff to add some sweetness to it or perhaps replace the drink. They took the same drink and over sweetened it and made it considerably worse. They seemed at best quite disinterested and at worst annoyed with my request, so I felt uncomfortable asking for another replacement. Read moreI’m a loyal customer of Moong but today I was disappointed. I had to wait over 10min for my drink because of cheeze foam. In cases like this customers should be informed about the waiting time if something takes long to prepare. Later the person making my drink took out the cheese before it was done and it was liquid consistency so there was no foam on top like it usually is and it just mixed with my matcha. What I found really disappointing was that the (owner) approved the cheeze foam even tho he saw that it’s not how it should be and let the other worker put it in my drink. They charge a lot for their drinks and after paying 7€ I expect good quality.

I have to say I got really surprised by the good customer service at Moong. I got a good offer as a recompensation for the bad experience I had last time I visited. The manager took a good care of the situation, apologised and was very respectful about the situation what doesn't happen often in the Netherlands. It's really nice to see how they care about their customers and learn from the mistakes instead of denying the complains from the customers. Atmosphere wise, i dont have any complaints. I was satisfied with the experience during my dinning experience. Hence, the 5 stars.
Food and bobba wise, unlike others, i love the toast. Indeed it is not cheap, but hey kuddos to how pretty it looks. Lots of people said too many sauce, and i saw improvement. I recommend the avocado toast thing. Was amazing.
