Being from Indonesian descent, I am quite critical when it comes to food. Isaku Iki has been my favorite place to eat for a long time. It is a bit out of the way when you are in the center of the Hague, but is 100% worth it. Es Teler, Es Cincau, Bami Goreng, Sate Ayam and Sate Babi Manis. All wonderful flavors that I haven't tasted anywhere else. The owner Maria is a wonderful kind, warm person who you can get to know if you come a bit more often. Must-visit...

Arrived early and the pleasant lady owner opened the shop at 3pm sharp. Was initially slightly worried about the food because there it looked to be only only one staff manning the shop but the trays of precooked dishes looked very inviting so went ahead and got a combination set with white rice.. Isaku-iki, Indonesian foods owned by an aunt from Semarang, Indonesia. The owner is very warm & welcoming, the price is decent, and the foods are great!

I recommend you to try the Jajanan Pasar (Lemper Ayam & Pastel Isi) and also Nasi Campur Kenanga & Sate (all sate menus are delicious!)
