JoeJoe is a new coffee bar in The Hague with a hip and minimalist style. There are minimal options for food, but the taste of each pastry is wonderful and you can taste the quality of ingredients. Anyway, the real reason to go to JoeJoe is for the coffee. Supplied by the owner’s own roaster, the coffee is not only delicious, but they are always experimenting with different fuses influencing the flavor notes and as a coffee lover, that makes JoeJoe’s coffee drinking experience a fun one. Newly opened coffee bar near the city centre of The Hague. Visited today and had an iced coffee and cardamom roll in their courtyard. Cute and cosy place & very helpful and friendly staff. However limited food and drink options. I wanted caramel syrup in my iced coffee but they only had chai syrup, which was still quite nice in the end. Cardamom roll tasted very fresh and nicely spiced. Would love to try the cinnamon bun in the future as this was sold out today. Inside was a big table suitable to study or work at with a laptop. Dropped by Roast Factory and had the El Guayabo coffee which is solid stuff. Smooth, with a subtle acidity that plays well with milk instead of fighting it. Balanced and interesting.

The pastries are top drawer. The cruffin was buttery and flaky without being a sugar bomb, and the cinnamon bun had just the right balance between spice and dough. No dry nonsense, just quality baking.
