Valentine's day ruined. My girlfriend and I went to this place on Valentine's eve I had seen some of the reviews which were not particulary good but my girlfriend insisted because she longed for tapas. When we arrived at the restaurant I noticed that there was no cooking going on. 2 chefs in a semi open kitchen but the only sound was that of the oven (red flag). The waiter came to ask us for drinks so I asked for the wine menu which was arguably the only good thing. There was NO CHOICE IN FOOD only the VALENTINE's MENU which was 35 euro pp which is quite steep but hey depends on what you get. First course soup which was quite tasteless and out of a package for sure and this I actually enjoyed the most. Second course 7 small plates and im talking real small with meat balls, chicken, shrimp, onion rings, baked potatos and some greens everything was completely tasteless and "out of the freezer into the oven" kind of food. Completely disgusting and tasteless, no seasoning at all. I did not see the cooks make anything except putting the things from the oven onto the plate. Then we already got desert which was same thing everything out of the freezer nothing home made some small brownies a bit of tiramisu and cocos crowns and that all for a grand total of 70 euros and a ruined valentine at least my girlfriend and I had good conversation but I would recommend...

We booked a table through El-olie, but when we got there, they said they were full and suggested going to their other place, just 100m away. But it was some other restaurant named Happs. Turns out, Happs had the same menu, but it wasn't what we expected. The food quality fell short of expectations, lacking the authentic flavors we were hoping for. Even the sangria failed to impress, missing the mark on its traditional taste. The saving grace was the courteous staff who tried their best to make up for the culinary letdown. Overall, a disappointing experience that leaves us...
Read moreFood was bland, luke warm and uninspired. We had called ahead to reserve a seat but they failed to mention that they would only have two options available on the menu that night (so no seperate tapa's), both options were a version of "a surprise menu made by the chef", not ideal but we decided to try it anyway. The reality was that every table that ordered the same menu got different dishes that they did not have any say about, which wouldn't be as much of a problem if the food that we did receive (after a long wait and some forgotten dishes) was any good. Bread with dips, and the beer were the best things we had that evening. We won't be...
