First and foremost, the quality of the restaurant lies within it's cozy asthetic and atmosphere. The place feels like a living room that happens to also have an adjacent bar. There's even a cat that walks around the premise! Great for drinks!
Though for what it makes up in asthetics, does lack a bit on the menu, I had a tosti and and egg sandwich. But both meals, though beautifully plated and were fairly bland. In my opinion the quality of the dishes were good for portion size but a little overpriced for how simple the servings were. (Mind you I eat vegetarian and so this might differ for those with more carnivorous diets).
Our server was fast in service but very neutral in his expression. Not particularly welcoming but far from hostile. And he did seem to know the menu fairly well.
Overall, I would definitely come here again for a cup of tea or hot chocolate and the great atmosphere. But the rest of the menu still has to prove itself before I would recommend...
Read moreI stopped in here alone one evening, anxious to just sit and read by myself. Sitting outside, watching people go by on bicycles, I was suddenly homesick. Very friendly staff without ever being obnoxious, and an extremely pleasant way to spend an evening. No one rushed me to finish, no one rushed me to pay. I have to say, if all "basic eateries" were like this one, the world would be a...

I have to say that latte and...
