Meat & More — Restaurant in Utrecht

They really need to step up their service. Wonderful food, but they brought the wrong burger for my bf. We didn't bother to call a waitress because they are really slow, so we didn't want to wait extra 20+ mins, while the other person eats their food. The ossenhaas burger is actually with ossenhaas and not minced ossenhaas, which was not mentioned in the menu. There were lots of things that they didn't mention in the menu. Oh , also the beer menu was dirty, as it was oily. I got the Texel beer , it was from tap, but it was clear that the keg was old, so it wasn't fizzy at all. The burger that i got came with a broken plate, which is also not okay. Also the plates & forks& knifes etc were quite low quality, which you can understand from the noise they make when you are cutting. The place was noisy because of this. It was very annoying. We enjoyed the food , but these problems were big. We went there for lunch on a Sunday so it is possible that these issues dont occur on dinner courses, or...

I reserved in this place from google maps based on ratings and genuinely I’ve never been so satisfied… the food was amazing taste beautiful served the amount of food was perfect… the bring the food after some time so you can enjoy eating slowing and every dish is after the other . My partner and I are really glad with everything. The best of the best was the desert with ice cream and fruits I am so full and enjoyed every little minute. this restaurant is beautiful in the inside outside with a bit loud noise but you’re able to speak . Our table was big and comfortable to eat . Everything was amazing , the staff was really polite and the manager was really polite and nice. I would defo come here to eat again, I wish this restaurant the best the deserve it. Good meat, good starters and wines but service is mediocre at best. When you and another person order the same cut (different weight) they present it as a single steak which is awful specially if one takes a cut that is 25,- per 100grams. You're left to figure out by yourself who gets what and so if you order for 200g and the other for 100g then chances are you're handing off x,- of meat to the other person because otherwise you seem picky cause you have to decide what the other gets. My friend ordered medium but received well cooked, so we as a group either had to start eating ahead as he waited for a new order. But mostly the first part just made me feel very uncomfortable as a customer because if it isn't a well known acquaintance then it just isn't the kind of decision you want to be making.
