Shamiana — Restaurant in Ōtara-Papatoetoe

If I could rate a Zero, I would. I went to Manukau Shamiana inside Westfield mall and just for these little amount of containers cost me $30, something you would expect for a combo price. When I told the lady I didn't want rice with it and just to fill other side with the order I wanted, she was like double the charge and I was like to her I don't want the rice so you should fill out the other side of container with same thing I'm ordering, she then looks at me annoyed and was like they don't charge for rice!! The half containers they give for take away is the size of what a two year old would be fed with, not a grown adult. Never again buying from this place. They don't seem to care for their customers so they obviously don't need our business. Therefore hope it shuts down and be replaced with something more worth...

Hey guys. So over the years i have been pretty much become a regular at the Shamiana in the Manukau Mall. I have notice their food quality has become quite poor also with their service. Food wise there has been multiple times where I found chicken bones in the meal that I order. The portion of the meal everyone is paying more for what they receive, its just not the same as a few years back. Service can be delayed. Had me waiting 5 to 10 minutes just to take my order and these seems to happen quite often. One staff had told me he was the only one working .When serving the naan bread. The man had put three naan breads aside and served me with a burnt one. Sorry for the negative review. It...

As I was placing my order with the staffer for several items at Shamiana Cuisines in Westfield Manukau, the other staffer behind the till was being rude by interrupting. She blurted out, "Move along!" in an extremely impolite manner. She repeated her request until I became irritated and could no longer complete my order. She then got my order muddled by mixing up the drinks and the combos and it took a while to sort out. Even worse she made the mistake of undercharging me. As I was about to leave she called me back to rectify her blunder! Not a pleasant experience...the worst by far! In the end my apetite went completely...
