DAGU Rice Noodle Mt Eden — Restaurant in Albert-Eden

Went for dinner on Thursday around 7 pm. The place was quite busy. You'll be given a menu paper to write the number of skewers you want to have. There are no sample pictures of the menu. If you are unsure, have a look around what other people have, and you'll get the idea. I would suggest to have a few of the cucumber dishes to wash your palate in between rather than cleanse it with drinks. The dry tofu combo with cucumber is also a good option.

Once you order, the skewers will come quite quickly, and you need to ask. Otherwise, you'll get confused. I would suggest asking for another large plate if you have ordered lots of skewers so they don't pile up on top of each other.

Crispy potato on foil is quite nice. 😋

Been to other branches of Dagu and I would say mostly pretty consistent. I love the marinated meat with rice which is my go to for every Dagu, cannot complain, the meat was tender and flavourful and taste like just from any Dagu branch. My wife had the same thing but with their Dagu rice noodles. The first thing I noticed was that the broth although was hot, it was not as hot like the other branches where I am actually scared of touching the bowl. Also we also ordered a grapefruit drink and that was just ok, it was not cold at all and very average taste. Other than all that, still very yummy meal for what I have ordered and...

The two new dishes they just launched completely blew me away with their aroma!
