I came here with my friends after hearing a lot about how Spice Route Cantina has some of the best tacos in Auckland, and after this experience, I totally agree.

I had the tandoori chicken parantha quesadilla (full), and others in our group got the masala beef and butter chicken birria tacos, plus the basmati burrito bowl. I was really impressed with how well the Indian and Mexican flavours worked together. Everything felt super balanced and flavourful.

This place is a true gem, it is quickly becoming a favourite of mine. The food is incredibly delicious with super well balanced flavours, it is clear a lot of thought and care goes into crafting these dishes. The result is amazing. And the cocktails too, are probably some of the best I’ve ever had. Spicy, tropical, incredible. Plus, supporting small local brands like Moksha. Great atmosphere also.
