"Well well well what do we have here" I dimmly murmured to myself as the bright spontanious lights of Gong Cha lit up my peripheral vision. I shifted my gaze towards said lights and instantly fainted.. it was like I had just seen a ghost! But it was far from a ghost. It was infact the heavenly sight of a new bubble tea store by the name of Gong Cha. I suddenly wake up from my fall and have a firing urge to buy myself a drink. I reach for the cash in my pocket only to find out it had been raxxed while I was absolutely knocked out cold on the dark grey concrete footpath. Still something spiritually dragged me into the store. When I approached the counter I was flustered with anxiety.. yet determination to get a drink. The lovely man ZowChonged was at the counter and noticed my nervous energy possesing the room. He asked if I would like a drink and I subconciously replied "Sorry I have no money" But this absolute hunk of a man decided he would pay for my drink and wow was I amazed. Not only was the customer service absolutely out of this dark place we all like to call earth, the drink was diabollically insane. I whole heartedly loved it! I ordered the Japanese matcha drink... and wowwww! My parched dry mouth was suddenly refreshed to the fullest! I cannot believe this experience went so well. I was speechless. I was walking down Riccarton Road, dragging my feet along the pavement. My mouth was as dry as the Saharan desert, in need of a refreshment. As I moped along, my limbs were as weak as a bridge made of toothpicks. I was particularly clumsy that day, which led me to my dark decent towards the pavement. A pebble, placed square in my path caught the front of my shoe, I tripped, fell, and dropped to the floor. The fall felt as though it lasted many nights and many days. I SMASHED/OBLITERATED my skull, blood was everywhere, 3 of my adult teeth spread across the matte grey pavement. I saw a light, I thought I was in heaven, but no, it was the gleaming lights of Gong Cha! Suddenly my wounds healed I sprung up with a skip in my step, and change in my pocket. With a hop, skip, and a jump, I was at the till, a tall, lanky man with specs welcomed me with a wide smile. I ordered my Gong Cha, it was very yummy, I love Gong Cha, so fricking much dude. Wow! What an immaculate experience!!!! The 2 boys with glasses (I believe their names were Xiaocong and John) were absolutely amazing. These young handsome men were quick to spot the fact I was struggling with my order as I had never visited this shop before .They were very very and I can not stress this enough! VERY helpful with helping me choose the perfect drink for me... and OMG! They hit the bullseye!! They decided the perfect drink for me was the Hoji-cha drink. This drink was exquisite in flavor and overall just divine. They also added some toppings to my drink like pearls and coconut jelly. These were the most beautiful compliment to the drink itself and my lord was it refreshing. Genuinely just tingled my taste buds in the most wonderful way I think they have ever been tingled!! I will be visiting this shop very regularly from now on without hesitation. Again thanks to John and Xiaocong for the wonderful service...
