Avoid at all cost if you have any dietary requirements
I've edited this post to expand after a response from owner: Visited on Monday lunch. I announced that I was dairy free, ordered a bowl of three salads - all of which are labeled as DF (Dairy Free). The meal was served with a yoghurt based sauce.
Allowing for a second chance I visited on Tuesday evening. I announced that I was dairy free, ordered a bowl of three salads and chicken skewers. All of these items are labeled as labeled as DF (Dairy Free). I labored that point that I require dairy free food and didn't want any tzatziki or dairy based sauces during ordering. The chicken skewers came with a mint and yoghurt based sauce. Upon complaining and pointing out the mistake, the same chicken skewers where returned on a new plate without the salad, but still containing the yoghurt based sauce. I've spent $19 dollars and ultimately left without eating anything. No resolution was offered.
To stress the point, it is not appropriate to label dishes as Dairy Free, but then serve that dish with dairy. There is a lack of understanding and no care. Best summed up as "Avoid at all cost if you have any dietary requirements"
I'd suggest suitable resolutions as: Preparing the dish without...
Read moreMy husband had been previously and really enjoyed it so we came for dinner between work and going to the theatre in the city. We were there early and were greeted very warmly and seated immediately. We chose the platter for 2 and chose the bread and dips, lamb kofta, seared prawns and broccoli bites. As I am allergic to orange citrus they subbed another dip for the orange one. They brought the bread and the 3 dips to have while we waited a very short time for the 3 other choices and it was delicious. I thought it didn’t think the platter looked like it would be enough but I was very wrong. They also threw a couple of other food items for free. The lamb kofta was slightly dry but very flavourful. I don’t like mint sauce so not having it might have contributed. I could have eaten more. The prawns were the hottest (not temperature) of the items and deliciously well cooked. The broccoli was a revelation. I’ve never had anything like it. It was quite a strong flavour and combined with crispy texture on the outside made an ordinary vegetable a little bit special. The extras were pakora, which I was a little wary of but was delicious, and falafel that was really good and nicely filling. The staff were lovely and a pleasant decor. I definitely think...
Read moreAbsolutely fantastic. The place had a lovely atmosphere. The girl behind the counter was really chearful and friendly. We were starving so we ordered an absolute mountain of food which meant we got to taste so much of the delicious menu. We got a platter which was amazing, in particular the beef parcel. We had a lamb tagine which was spectacular. My partner had the wrap which although he enjoyed I thought it was the least tasty of the bunch (even though it was still very nice) and lastly we ordered a large salad and they very kindly let me try a bit of all the salads avaliable. I wasn't going to try the carrot and orange one but I'm so glad i got some as it was really flavourful and possibly my favourite of the salads I was given. I couldn't believe how relatively cheap what we got was when we were so full. I would highly highly recommend this place if you are looking for a relaxed, healthy and inexpensive flavourful meal. Thank...
