Me and my partner went and ordered our lunch to go. We were both surprised how quick our order was ready. When we left we realised the portion size wasn't the greatest especially for the price. We sat down to eat and I assumed that maybe the taste makes up for the lack of size. This was not the case. It was clear our food had been microwaved. When I opened my order the noodles were stuck together and my partners rice was mushy. The vegetables were also dry and barely any meat. I ordered pad Thai which is what I usually order at any Thai place, so I have a fair idea what it should taste like, my one tasted like chilli sauce had been smothered through it and not to mention they microwaved my lemon in the container which felt warm and looked like an old used lemon. So disappointed. $28 dollars worth of...

I wish I could give more but honesty is key, the money bags were nicely presented but small and I don't even know what was in them? Are they vegetarian? Usually they have a nice amount of minced meat in them and peas corn and carrot it just looked like mush.. I had the Tom yum soup, Tom yum is meant to have a zing to it be zesty fresh and lemony.. it was quite bland and had cream or coconut cream more like Tom Kah, the rice portion was small, to be honest I didn't feel like finishing my soup as it had no real Thai flavour at all.. but I did to save hassle. Probably won't eat here again. Also a bit different to walk into a Thai restaurant and say Sawadee Kah and the front of house don't know Thai... but they were nice enough.. sorry I couldn't be more positive... this is coming from an expert Thai...

I ordered food at the counter from a bored and unfriendly server and went to sit in a 'restaurant'. The same server let me sit there for over 10min only to inform me that to eat in I need to pay more, while handing over a takeaway bag of overpriced Pad Thai. After having been treated like an idiot and apart from the fact that the vegetarian version cost exactly the same as the meaty ones, I hoped that when I'm back home and finally try it, it will be the best Pad Thai I've ever had. As I love Thai food and have eaten a lot of it all over the world, I couldn't believe what I was given. The food was so sour (good I didn't use any lime on it before trying) I had to give up and bin $17... Worst experience with a Thai...

All over not impressed, group of us came for dinner. Ordered the special spicy mussels for $15, which wasn't too bad the sauce spicy but very nice. For main ordered Thai massaman curry that comes with a big plate with the smallest heart shaped rice in the middle of it 🙄not enough at all to eat with the bowl of curry. This cost $21 and we had to pay for an extra rice to make it into a proper meal. Then you have a look at the takeaway menu and it's cheaper and you get more in it. Meal too small for its price !!

Great Thai restaurant in the Brighton beach centre. Near to the pier and the library. Foods are extremely authentic and the spicy dish salad are Thai spicy so make sure you are use to hot hot chili otherwise go for mild or no chili option. I loved the green curry and few other dishes. The owner are very hard working and loved her traditional dress too. Is definitely a good Thai restaurant in Christchurch that offer a taste of Thailand.
