Saigon Centre — Restaurant in Christchurch

I ordered Bún Bò Huế around 8:15pm tonight and what I can say is Im extremely disappointed with what I got. Not sure it is what they usually serve in the restaurant or not but for takeaway, small rice noodle instead of signature bun bo hue rice noodle for Bun Bo Hue?I wonder you may run out of the noodle and gave me something else? Also, Lacking all of the topping for Bun bo Hue and gave me some Korean Beef Slices? Nothing else in the soup!!!$18.50 for the soup I cant complain because it is very cheap compare to others but missing all of the signature of the dish is completely something else. What more shocking when seeing photo on the website and wonder do you guys do this to other customers or im just the unlucky one today? I am visiting Christchurch from Melbourne and I loveee a good bowl of BBH, unfortunately for here it was OK. Maybe I am use to being spoilt back home where Vietnamese food is in an abundance, the takeaway bowl was packaged not so nice and the oils from the bbh broth leaked all over the bag. There were no added extra leafy salads as I’m used to in Melbourne, and quite frankly everywhere in the world I’ve had the dish. They also used the thin vermicelli noodles instead of the usual thicker ones as well which I prefers however that comes to personal preference. We went on a Saturday for lunch, near empty. It shouldn't be!

We were greeted politely and had our order taken with water served at the table first.

Our order took no time at all to be prepared and served to our table. The food is delicious the pricing is honest and the service respectful.

I imagine this place kills it on Uber eats and takeaway service but there's something to be said about eating out.

Atmosphere with the idyllic ambient of the orient music in the background is therapeutically calming and delightful.

The furniture solidly crafted, not cheap seats in today's world but the decor is starting to look a little tired - nevertheless worth your time and will be eating here...
