My wife and I stopped by this café one afternoon for a quick tea break. The place was quiet at the time, with only one other table occupied, which we thought would make for a relaxing visit. While the atmosphere was calm, a few details stood out that slightly took away from the experience. Some tables hadn’t been cleared yet, which felt a bit off considering how quiet it was. The cutlery on our table wasn’t properly paired, and small things like this can make a difference. I ordered a tea, but it was served in what looked more like a small coffee cup—not ideal. My wife’s chai latte also came out a bit cold, which was disappointing. These aren’t major issues, but they’re simple things that shouldn't require the customer to ask to be corrected. On a more positive note, the food was the highlight. We ordered the carrot cake and their special pasta dish—both were genuinely good. The pasta portion was generous enough for two, and the flavors were spot on. Overall, the café has potential, especially with the quality of the food. With a bit more attention to service details, it could offer a much...

Really tasty food and big portion sizes.

We got the blueberry pancakes which came with candy floss as opposed to cream what was awesome. It came with lots of seasonal fruit.

We also got their big breakfast. It came with a tomato relish, mushrooms, bacon, salad. Five grain bread, eggs of your choice, sausage and potatoes rosti. The eggs were cooked perfectly, nice and runny and the potato rosti was homemade and delicious. Their plum ad honey tea was super tasty and it could be ordered cold or hot. We also purchased a passion fruit and white chocolate slice takeaway, also super tasty.

A table next to us had an eggs Benedict that came on two potato rostis and a kids serving of the pancakes which was a decent yet kid friendly size.

Staff were friendly and came to get our orders from the table.

Will definitely come back!!

Gluten free and vegetarian options. There was even a vegetarian...

I came here with my mother and partner to have a nice afternoon brunch. The atmosphere of the restaurant is quite pleasant and spacious. The staff are quite friendly as well and promptly sat us down at a table. Mum ordered the Eggs Benedict and me and my partner ordered the Scotch Steak Sandwich. We also ordered the caramel frappe which was perfectly balanced in terms of sweetness.

The food came to our table in about 20 minutes, which is acceptable and well worth the wait. They are quite generous with their portion sizes and the steak was cooked beautifully.

We really enjoyed our visit here and if you happen to be in Sunnynook, then definitely give this place a shot! Thank you for the amazing...

The Service: It's often very packed enough that sometimes you won't get a table and usually is very noisy because they packed so many tables into a small cafe. It took 10 minutes to get before we could order only because we walked up to a waitress. The water "jug" is a 500ml bottle that isn't big enough for four people, we needed to keep getting up to refill it. The Food: I know it's not the fairest comparison because it wasn't called "the big breakfast" but their equivalent version felt a bit cheap. The bread and a big layer of spinach made up maybe 40% of the meal. The chips were barely warm and tasted a little chewy like it was reheated. The rest of the food was okay but nothing to rave about.
