Goodness Gracious — Restaurant in Devonport-Takapuna

Had some awful customer service from some very rude staff. A simple misunderstanding caused by their own doing resulting in them accusing me of 'stealing' two coffees and snatching them back out of my hand and storming off.

My friend had ordered two coffees under the name Ben, I went into the store after about 5 minutes and said clearly "two coffees for ben?" the staff member on the counter gave me two coffees and I walked out followed quickly by another staff member chasing me out the door and snatching them back off me, I was more than happy to give them up and it is hardly the customers fault that the staff member on the counter was incorrect. Definitely not the greatest...

Never have experienced so poor service at Goodness Gracious. Waited 30mins then bagels were presented in a takeaway box when we were dining in. Had to ask how long they would be. Wife had seen them waiting up on servery area. Bagels were cold .Chef seemed totally out of his comfort zone and unable to function under pressure. Should have sent them back but chef looked like he was loosing the plot when he slammed the plates down. Chef was also needing to help on making coffees which was not helping...

SHOUTOUT to the bro working on the coffee machine with the moustache, what an epic dude who has gotta be the best customer service I've ever had??? Drinks were amazing, bagels were amazing, service was amazing, actual 10/10. Oh and the CAB bagel (chicken, avocado, bacon, not citizens advice bureau) is the BEST (I want another one now).
