Went for the bottomless brunch - poor service an attitude of the waitstaff and manager was horrible when some of us opted out of the bottomless drink option.
We ordered our food an 2 1/2 hrs later we still hadnât got any food brought out, had to try grab the attention of the waitstaff to ask when food would be coming out as it had been 2 1/2 hrs am still nothing then slowly the food came out. To find the Food average an tasteless, which some of us didnât finish, portions were tiny for the amount of them more like children meals.
Some of us ordered a glass of wine $15 a glass and didnât even get Half a glass felt like we were wine tasting. (Non bottomless either)
As for the bottomless brunch - 4 people had this an one food platter was brought out for 4 people with barely anything edible on there. But everyone still got charged full price.
The bottomless drinks - we where ignored multiple times when wanting another drink, which was very obvious when the waitstaff looked at us an saw us try get there attention then looked away quickly and walked away an when we did get service we had the manager roll his eyes at us and walk away multiple times when trying to order drinks even for the other 6 people who were on the normal meals.
Then when it came to paying everyone paid separately which left 2 peopleâs meals on the bill which I was to pay for when I asked for the amount due I was told there was $466 left which was completely incorrect I said there should have only been a set amount to pay which I then had the response not according to the bill - asked for the manager as wasnât happy to be called a liar, manager came over an I explained we could even show the bank transactions which were paid. Eventually got it sorted to be told that the over waiter who had taken the payments had f**d up the bill and added another partyâs bill to our table.
Wouldnât recommend going here was the first time and last time which was a shame as was a birthday brunch which wasnât a...
Read moreI had my Birthday here and if you want to feel special on your day then this wouldnât be the place for you.
I rate this a 3 star because the food was AMAZING.
I loved the cheese croquettes. HIGHLY recommend.
But no matter how good the food is itâs the feeling that the restaurant left you with youâd remember... except that cheese croquettes though... those were so good and youâd remember.
Nearing the end of our dinner it felt that the server wanted to leave as soon as possible. When we wanted dessert i had a feeling that the kitchen might have closed or something but i waited if they would say that so i can express that the server should have ask for last orders but gladly it didnât came to that.
He explained that the Apple and Pear Tarte Tatin would take 15mins to make the crust which we were fine waiting. He asked if it would be shared and we said yes.
When he placed the cutlery it was DIRECTLY at the table and didnt even place napkin first then cutlery which was really strange and uncomfortable for us.
After a while he came back with the dessert and it was just that plate. No small plates for each of us and iâm not sure maybe he wanted us to be extra romantic and just have us shared directly from the main plate.
TLDR: Food was great. Server placed cutlery straight on table and didnt place napkin first. Then didnt even give small share plates.
â Funny thing is we came back the next day since one of our mate had to go to shorecare. We initially didnt want to go but since it was the only thing open we were so hungry waiting for our mate we decided might as well. It was at 8:40ish that we came and were told kitchen is closing (opening hours âtill lateâ we checked before coming in) and that only âfriedâ food can be ordered which we understand but just supports previous experience. Good thing though this time we had share plates...
Read moreThe Grange came up from a Google search when looking for a last minute birthday dinner venue. Fantastic first dining experience on a Saturday night. We had 3 picky eater-children aged 9-14 and 4 adults - 2 who love a variety of food and 2 who are not adventurous. It was the perfect venue for us all. Lots of carparks after 5pm, great ambience where it was not overly formal but not a casual family diner either. There was a bar and indoor and outdoor seating to drink or dine - so great for all seasons and occasions. The food was well presented, well cooked and tasted delicious - for everyone. Cocktails to start - a great selection! Ciabatta was soft fluffy and perfect as an appetizer, the cheese bites were hit with everyone. Our table had the steak, buttermilk chicken, fish and chips, lamb shank in massaman curry - everything was cooked well the steaks were a perfect medium and medium rare. The lamb for our unadventurous guests was a big hit. They went out on a limb to order that - but were so happy they did because it was something they would not normally try. The service was warm and friendly on arrival. There was no waiting for acknowledgment as we were greeted immediately as we walked in. Very attentive but not intrusive throughout the evening. Will...
