I've not been yet but looking through pics & reviews it would appear that the burgers are very tasty.
As a note for the proprietors you may wish to respond to is that there are many people who have dairy allergies. To not accommodate / customise the removal of cheese from any of the 3 meat burgers, all of which have cheese, would not seem like a wise marketing choice.
Let's go to Shake Out. I'd prefer not. I like a good meat burger but I have a dairy allergy & they've stated very clearly they "can't" (not appropriate word as it's a choice) remove the cheese as they choose not to customize their burgers. It really slows the kitchen down ... apparently!
Well why don't the TEN of us go somewhere else & spend our $15+ a head at a place that does care.
Proprietors.... It's not a choice for some people. So many businesses these days care to put alternate choices or allow that wee tiny bit of looking after the people & in doing so looking after profit.
Can't leave cheese out ... Can't? Really. That's a recipe for failure. Listen to your customers. Well. Those that could be your customers. Otherwise you won't need to worry about slowing the kitchen down. That's really a false arguement anyway ... come on!
Wouldn't it take longer to add cheese than leave it out.
I like cheese so I will try you out. But it's not on my weight watchers food list.
Oh yes. Brandon. Aioli doesn't have vinegar in it. But to hear it's a salt & vinegar mayo, which isn't on the board, may disappoint many. Not a fan of S & V myself. Huge fan of aioli though.
Do you customise no salt by the way cos I have a serious heart condition so don't add salt to my meals. It's not...

Verdicts: Double cheese burger - great, I mean they’re buns were soft the patty was juicy. Honestly it’s just a good old classic burger
Fries - I do prefer skinny fries than thick, these were great but nothing special. Cause you know... it’s fries
Chocolate shake - now they’re called shake out... to be honest I didn’t have a high expectation just curious on this shake... and honestly... it’s just okay. If you’ve tasted cool whip.. it kinda just tastes like you’re eating chocolate cream. If you pick up the cup it’s super light which makes you think... is this really ice cream? What is this really made of ?
Service - you get a hi and you press your order yourself which was nice. Also the food was super fast but maybe that’s just cause there wasn’t many people around.
Overall, it’s okay.... it isn’t the best... it isn’t in and out and it isn’t shake shack (maybe this is a copy of shake shack) but honestly for the price I dont think I would come back it’s something I’d try and be like oh yeah it’s okay then never come back cause it’s expensive as heck. But I don’t think that’s their fault... nz in itself is just super expensive
But...
Read moreGreat burger. Good fries. Good shake, too, though I expected better from a place called 'Shake Out'. I liked the automated ordering system. Friendly staff. Prices were OK, fries a little expensive for the portion but not too pricey overall.
Where they lose points is not being able to customise your burger at all. I'm not a fan of their burger sauce, so even though the rest of the burger was excellent, I'll never eat another one of their burgers again since I can't stand the sauce.
So even though they've streamlined the ordering system, and even though we were literally the only people there and the only order on the queue, and even though I asked one of the staff (who was otherwise doing very little) if it would be ok to just not put sauce on one of the only 2 burgers on order, I was unapologetically told "we don't do any customisation at all", and was given a burger slathered in sauce.
Huge shame really, because I probably would be a regular customer here. Everything else was great. But until I can order a burger without sauce, like I can at literally any other burger place in the entire world, I won't be coming back.
Seems like a very short-sighted business decision on their...
