I had quite the experience here. So, at night i went out to Takapuna playground. WELL, let me tell you about MY time here. It is NOT a safe place for your children to play at. I was jumped by a group of hood rats and was shot at by a BB gun ( which left pelts in my face and chest ) i had to take statements with officers and run through conversations with the sergeant. Celebrating Chinese New Year at Takapuna Beach Reserve on 10/2/2024, my husband and I enjoyed our lovely moments there.

There is an annual special event organised by China Cultural Centre Auckland for Chinese New Year. Therefore, there are lots of people visiting the stalls and enjoying the dancing performance.
