McDonald's Hamilton East — Restaurant in Hamilton

There was a young man in front of us in the drive through, on foot as the front door was closed. All he wanted was a meal, he had the money, he was polite. However they would not serve him because he did not have a car.

This is disgraceful McDonald's We spoke with the man and ordered on his behalf. He just finished a celebration in hillcrest for getting his first job. However they told the man who was clearly slightly intoxicated that he must have a vehicle to order. 4

Hold on a second, isn't that illegal?

Is it McDonald's policy to only serve drunk patrons if they are in vehicles. If so you are part of the problem, and I urge the Hamilton police to park out the front of Hamilton East McDonald's more often. You are bound to catch someone who has been told to go home and get thier car.

I guess the last few days we have really been seeing McDonald's true colours. No fire fighter policy, now no undrunk driver...

I went to order a double cheese burger small combo for $6 though the drive thru and was told that they don't serve that combo anymore, I told him that I had ordered the exact same thing yesterday for $6 and that it was possible, He continued arguing and refusing that it's was not possible so I ask for his name and left, the next day I went to 5crossroads McDonald's to order the exact same combo without any issues, so I asked for a receipt and headed back to ham east McDonald's. I asked for the duty manager and told her the what happened yesterday, she asked me to wait at the counter then head to the back, she came back and told me she would have done the same thing and would inform her staff member that they do sell the small combo for $6. In the end she told me that she would do nothing to reimburse my time, gas and effort and that I would have to contact McDonald's customer service myself if I wanted...

I have the mcdonald's app. & It does say on the app that the deals are only for a limited time. I wish the app knew when to renew it's deals then, so when you get to a restaurant you wont be denied an app meal. It's usually a reliable takeaway usually. I think, I'm just used to buying my individual meals without the app. So it was kind of a let down that I couldn't use the app deals at the restaurant. Also, have trouble with mcdonalds on Uber aswell. I'm always getting refunded for the food, they forget in my order. Also I haven't told mcdonald's about the other stuff they've forgotten. You get over it after a while. I still eat mcdonald's. I don't know what to do about it's mishappenings even though I like their food! . Rattys - but personally for all restaurants I'd give...
