The food was delicious, but the service was terrible. I asked for the Perinaise and chutney on the side and they put it on my pita. I didn't ask them to remake it, but simply asked for the Perinaise on the side, as I really didn't want it on the sandwich, but wanted to dip my chips in it. The blonde woman behind the counter said, "Oh, I guess they put in on there instead." I said that maybe they had, but I wanted it on the side. She said, "Okay, I can maybe make that happen." Then I sat back down. Waited another 10 minutes as she puttered around tidying up, then finally asked her again and she said, "Oh, I asked them to see about it. I guess they didn't do it." I had to ask her again to get it. Then she went behind the counter and it took a really long time for her to squirt some Perinaise in a bowl. By the time she brought it out my chips were ice cold.
Just a really poor attitude. We also ordered the combos (sandwich with a side and a regular drink), but she charged us the full price for each item.

She doesn't know to talk nicely to customers (I meant to me), and I was very upset and very uncomfortable as there were other customers also nearby. I came to Nando's on 24/01/20 between 13:30-14:30. There were 2 other staff girls seemed nicer and not bad like the lady who talked to me. In general, I don't expect to be perfect the staff where I visit. But there are should be minimum standards and qualities we everyone expect as customers. So, I'm informing to the business owners to look on to this matter and make the corrections. Please advise your staff, specially the senior lady (she was seemed to be) who treated me bad. Please advise them that give little smile for the customers and don't speak loud and give orders to customers. Ask them to treat customers with some respect and flexible manner. Even New Zealand police stop for speed tickets talks nicer than your rude staff lady. Talk nicer and little smile or friendliness can solve lot of issues without complains. I had a very disappointing experience at this Nando’s location. I had placed an order online and went to pick it up. When I arrived, the staff member at the counter didn’t even ask about my order. Instead, he just signaled with his hands that they were closed. Only after I explained that I had already placed an order did he hand it over.
When I asked for peri-peri sauce (which usually comes with the chicken), he told me I should buy a bottle instead. I explained that I didn’t want a bottle and just wanted the pouches, as is normally provided. He then said I would have to pay extra for the pouches. I agreed to pay, but the way he handled the situation was rude and unprofessional. He grabbed a bunch of pouches in a very disrespectful manner, which made me feel insulted.He gave me free pouches 5-6 🙂
