Thai Classic — Restaurant in Hamilton

Thai Classic has got to be one of the best authentic thai restaurants in Hamilton! I have tried a wide range of their food and it has never disappointed me. Their curries are super flavourful as are the stir fry dishes. The entress are super yummy and all house-made by their head chef. So they taste extra special! The staff are super friendly and inviting and their knowledge about the cuisine is good. The owners are also super lovely people and it was great to go in when collecting my takeaway order, to see all their tables full! They deserve all the hype and business.

I will always recommend this place to anyone whos looking for where to go for any celebration, date night or just a delicious takeaway in the comfort of your own home!

Unassuming but delicious. It doesn't shout glitz and glam, but some absolutely tasty food. The sizzling crispy pork in penang sauce was top notch, the larb was well-flavoured (though I'd appreciate some coriander garnish), and the roast duck on roti as a starter was a great way to kick off the meal. Cocktails on the menu are simple yet delicious - the Singapore Sling was a particular favourite. Kind and attentive staff, who were happy to hand out multiple lollipops to a small child at a neighbouring table. All in all, a friendly welcoming spot; with a solid turnover of takeaways while we were there. Its popular and rightly so - we look forward to...

We ordered the duck panang curry and prawn entree to takeaway. The prawn entree was nice but the duck was inedible - rubbery and fatty. I would have returned it if I was dining in and that's not something I would ever normally do. The panang sauce was cooked with Thai herbs but i saw nothing green except maybe peas. At 23 dollars just for the small, mostly inedible curry, and more than 30 dollars all up, it was very disappointing. My first and last visit to this place. Staff were nice but there was only one diner on a Friday night....
