If there was such a thing as a Frequent Eater Program, I’d be on Platinum status here. I’m in at least once a week (mostly for takeaway, because I like to eat at work with my team).
The service? Always fast, always friendly, they know my order before I’ve even walked through the door.
Now, let’s talk about the lamb rogan josh. I’m convinced there’s magic involved. The lamb is so tender it must have been whispered lullabies before cooking. The sauce is rich, aromatic, and perfectly balanced, like a warm, spicy hug in a bowl. Every bite makes me wonder why I ever bother cooking at home.
Other dishes are brilliant too, but the lamb rogan josh has my heart. If curry could win awards for emotional impact, this one would get a standing ovation.
In short, fantastic food, lightning service, and the kind of warmth that keeps you coming back.
Just don’t all rush here at once, or I’ll have to start...
Read moreBeen twice to make sure I'm fair but sadly this is not among the restaurants in Hamilton I would recommend. Food is okay, medium hot is on the spicy side but our dishes were acceptable. It's not amazing or worth a further return visit because Hamilton has many really good alternatives. Service is a bit cold and distant. Not overly helpful or friendly but not discourteous either. Cleanliness leaves a lot of room for improvement. Hand soap in bathroom was diluted to go further and our table lacked cutlery so we had to raid neighbouring tables. Lucky there weren't other customers (I think I know why). High chair was absolutely filthy and disgusting. I had to go to town on it with our wipes before use and I'm still not happy about putting my kid through that. Anyway... I'd rather eat there than starve and I wouldn't not go if invited by a friend but I don't think I'll revisit voluntarily...
Read morePoor service, received 3 mains instead of 2 ordered which I put this down to translation problems? My wife ordered a glass of Pinot Gris and given something else altogether, when queried the manager argued and was extremely rude even when she poured a completely different coloured wine from the brand we ordered in front of us to compare. The other girl looked very embarrassed and shortly after came to the table with a 2nd handle of Kingfisher which I had not ordered ,mistakenly thinking it must have been an apology of sorts. However when I went to pay the bill she said I would have to wait for the manager, who then charged fully for everything including what was not ordered. Extremely rude service and average food, especially when there is a exceptional Indian restaurant with great service just a few doors...
