Maki Sushi — Restaurant in Henderson-Massey

We ordered a couple of sushi platters online for lunch. We stopped by after 30 minutes and it was ready to go. The shop is on the corner of the driveway, with the entrance just off Lincoln Road on Moiselle Ave. The area was quite busy but luckily we were just picking up so we were able to wait on the side area of the shop. The platters were decently sized with 24 pieces per platter. The fusion crunch platter was quite nice with fried prawns and chicken inside the rolled sushi. There were two types of chicken sushi so there were eight pieces of three different sushis. The salmon paradise platter had a nice amount of salmon in it. The rolled were salmon and avocado and the pieces of salmon in each piece were different. The inner eight rolls had sauce which made it tastier. I cant believe I havent left my review for this place - out of all of the purchases I have made here in the last 2 years I have only been disappointed twice, one was delivery driver error causing food to not taste fresh but too warm (must have been under the heater) and that their salads in their lunchbox is almost non existent but despite the lack of salad compared to when I first started buying their food I always look forward to our next meal at Maki Sushi. Great prices, beautiful quality and just overall a better option than almost all of the other standard sushi stores for our tastes....

Food was flavorful & Good Hygiene

Sushi was freshly made (from inside out), wasabi tasted fresh as well (not stone hard and felt like a clay), taro ball is a must have, despite being a bit cost worthy.

The overall environment was great, clean and no awkward smell in the shop, the table is not sticky, and plates came just in time.

Friendly service, had a big scoop of wasabi when required to add, really do appreciate that!

Had it once on Uber Eats and will be ordering some more in future!...
