Visited Momo junction for lunch today, ample parking around so a big thumbs up. Nice cozy interiors with a friendly staff, so another big plus. The menu is small and simple and they've covered everything important :). Their Momo's were one of the best I've had outside of Darjeeling. The jhol momos was something new; loved the jhol/curry that came along. Impressive chutney/achar to go with momos too...esp the hot chili one. Pork momos were just like they make back home. Pork Shapta with Tingmo was fantastic...Tingmo went well with jhol too haha. Def coming back to try their momos. Hope they add alu dum waiwai and chhyang soon 🙏🏻🙏🏻. Edit: visited again sometime back. This time tried their chowmein. It was superb as expected. Also ordered Shafaley (fried meat pocket)...bit heavy as they are deep fried. Perfect for a cold winter night or maybe hangover cure :)

Although, I’ve noticed that when the main chef and his wife are not around the taste is not maintained by the temporary chefs. But that hasn’t stopped me from going back, as the main chefs are not away for too long anyway! Highly recommend their - Momos (all kind), and the chicken chilli, goat curry!

Tucked away in Great North Road, Henderson, Momo Junction can be described as a hidden gem. We visited the eatery on a Saturday for an early lunch and were the first and only customers there. The service was great, the restaurant was clean and the food was amazing. It was nice to eat flavours from parts of India that was not the cliche butter chicken and chicken tikka masala. Momo’s are the Indian version of dumplings and this place specialises in these beautiful treats. If this restaurant was located in a better location it would get the customers it deserves. Sadly a place like Henderson city does not give this...
