It’s deeply disappointing — and honestly, shameful — that as a Vietnamese person coming to support a Vietnamese restaurant, what I received in return was such disgraceful and disrespectful treatment from the staff.
Yesterday was a special day off for my family, and we chose this place hoping to enjoy a good meal together. There were 4 adults and 6 children in our group. At exactly 10:11 AM, we placed our order: 4 bowls of pho, 4 coffees, and meals for the kids.
By 10:40 AM, a staff member brought out 4 bowls of pho on a cart. Strangely, she only served 2 of them to our table and took the other 2 to the table next to us — a group of 3 who arrived and ordered after us. As a result, only 2 people at our table were eating while the other 2 just sat there watching — and the same thing happened at the other table. This was not just poor coordination — it was complete disregard for fairness and common sense.
Even worse, two more customers came in after that, ordered two bowls of pho, and were served before we received the remaining 2 bowls for our group. I brought this up with the staff and was met with nothing but indifference and ridiculous excuses. Their response? That we needed to “understand” because the restaurant was busy.
We waited nearly an hour — until 10:57 AM — for our last two bowls of pho. An absolutely unacceptable delay.
Let me be clear: if you’re coming here with more than two people, don’t bother. Unless you enjoy being ignored, mistreated, and left hungry while paying premium prices, stay far away from this place.
And to top it all off, when I voiced my frustration to the manager, he didn’t even offer an apology. Instead, he repeated the same line — that we had to understand. Not a shred of accountability. Not even basic courtesy.
This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. I will absolutely never return. And unless they make serious changes to how they treat their customers, I’ll make sure everyone I know hears about this...
Read moreWe've been here three times, as we are very close and like to support local. The first time, we had a delicious pork banh mi -- I ordered just regular pork, but it was filled with what looked like homemade pork sausage and it was excellent. We went back the next day to order the same thing, but received a more standard pork banh mi, which was fine but nothing like the first one.
It's been months but today I stopped by and saw on the menu they have a "sausage" banh mi. I said to the guy that we'd had a lovely pork sausage one there before, asked him about it but there was a language barrier.
I ordered it, excited, and got home to find it's like... Terrible grocery store sausage? With ketchup. Not at all a banh mi. So disappointing!
And the iced Vietnamese lattes we ordered were delicious, but so small. The photo is as we received them. $8 for a half filled cup of mostly ice!
Maybe their pho is good, but I will never be going back to try it based on my other experiences. Would...
