Sal's Authentic NY Pizza - Henderson — Restaurant in Henderson-Massey

Man! This is the best Sals restaurant I’ve ever been to. I normally go to Westgate but as they didn’t open till 4pm today, Lincoln Rd was the nearest one to get lunch from. This will be our new location going forward. I’d happily drive the extra 10minutes to support this store. Firstly, walking in I immediately noticed how extremely clean and tidy the restaurant was. From the toilets to the kitchen, it was immaculate. Once inside we were greeted straight away by all 3 of the staff members. All 3 of them welcomed us in and amaze sure we were okay. As we had done an online order, they advised us that our food was delayed by 3 minutes. Not a problem at all. But they insisted we accepted 2 drinks on the house for the inconvenience. I told them it was okay and 3 minutes was not a long wait but they were persistent about giving us the drinks. Man, these guys were so nice and accommodating. You could tell they took pride in their restaurant and were serious about customer service. I honestly can’t praise their service enough. 10000/10. Lastly the food. Frick man, I’ve had so many inconsistent and underwhelming Sals Pizzas in the past, but these guys deliver on taste, quantity and quality. This is the first Sals I’ve been to that actually gives you a fair amount of cheese without you having to specify or ask beforehand. The pizza was perfect for my liking. Good cheese pull, cooked well enough for a crispy base and golden topping without burning it. Also the garlic knots were top tier. My son said they were the best he’s Ever had! And he’s super fussy too. Overall, I am more than impressed. I look forward to our next order from this store. As for the staff and owners… I wish you the greatest success moving forward. You are the type of restaurateurs that should be glorified. I hope you gain many more customers from my review and that you continue to set such a high standard for other Pizza chains to aspire...

I was told my cheese pizza would take 25 mins, that's fine. At least it would've been if they had told me when it was ready, instead of puting it up in a high shelf to get cold and not bother to ask the one person that was sitting outside if I was waiting for a cheese pizza. I only live 3 - 4 mins away, by the time I got my pizza home it was very cold like I had left it out of the oven for over half an hour. My garlic buns were not only cold but burnt. Because it was a very stormy night I didn't want to return the pizza or the garlic buns and to top it off, due to the storm we lost power all night so I wasn't able to heat the pizza up. Sorry Sal's, my first experience with you guys was great and I recommended you guys to all my friends and relatives. This 2nd time was not so good 😞 Better communication with your customers would've solved this issue instead of saying, we called out yr name but no.one came. Hello, I was the only one sitting outside, if you know you don't have a speaker outside, then one out of the many of you that worked that night should come out and ask me. You couldn't have missed seeing me outside cause you have a window that overlooks the seating outside, I was sitting right...

My son loves this place. He has been visit every Friday with his daddy for years now. Most of the times it is different staff yet they are all so kind, thoughtful and caring. They know what he likes and show interest on customers which is very rare to spot these days. My son revs about this place . Unfortunately for me l am not a pizza fan. I sometimes wish they could have some beef ribs, chicken peices with different flavors and add to their window display- just a variety. However, l like the herbs and spices they have. One can use these as they like which is an added bonus. They keep tye place clean and a friendly smile welcomes each customers amd sends them home too.
