Honestly, this place needs to be shut down. Total scam. They advertise a “buy 4 breads, get the 5th free” deal, but it’s completely misleading. I picked out four breads and then chose a $9 one as my fifth, thinking that would be the free one. When I saw the total was way higher than expected, I asked the worker with glasses which bread was free — and she says one of the $4 ones.
Seriously? So the cheapest bread is free, even if it’s not the fifth one you pick? That’s not how the promo is worded at all. It’s shady, and they clearly count on customers not noticing until it’s too late. It feels like a bait-and-switch, and they don’t even explain it unless you press them on it.
And it’s not just me — look at the Google reviews. Tons of people are saying the same thing: overpriced, dishonest, rude staff, and a sketchy way of doing business. That should tell you everything you need to know.
I won’t be back. There are way better bakeries around that actually respect...
Read moreWhen I purchased bread here, The cashier recommended a cake to me. At first, I was spoken to in Chinese, which I did not understand, Then she explained in English. Honestly, I did not fully understand, but I was told the total was $47, which seemed expensive to me. And I went back to the shop with my Chinese partner to confirm the amount, It turned out to be $43. So she refunded the $4 difference.
Furthermore, The recommended cake was $14 each. The price was not listed, and if I had known it was so expensive, I would not have bought it. It was my mistake to make the purchase under pressure, However if she cannot explain clearly, I would appreciate it if she refrained from pushing sales. Additionally, The price error was truly unacceptable. As other reviewers have mentioned, Her calculations are quite careless. I will never visit this...
Read moreI’ve been overcharged at this bakery on multiple occasions and have decided not to return. After reading other reviews, I realize this seems to be a deliberate practice. If you don't go back, they keep your money. If you do return, they refund the overcharge—but without any apology.
Their buns are overpriced, and the staff uses hard-sell tactics, often pushing you to buy more or sign up for their membership program. This scheme requires you to pay hundreds of dollars upfront in exchange for a few “free” buns. Be cautious—you might not get your money back if the business suddenly disappears.
The way they repeatedly overcharge customers while pretending it’s a mistake suggests dishonesty. How can anyone trust their pay-in-advance program under such...
