TANO SUSHI&DON — Restaurant in Kaipātiki

This is the best sushi on the shore. They don't over do it on the rice like most sushi places these days. The sushi is always colourful, fresh, flavourful and great value for money. The staff here are always lovely giving this place such a welcoming vibe. I come here probably once a week so my only issue is that I wish the menu would switch up a little bit, some fresh tuna would be great. However this is a me problem because most people aren't getting sushi weekly....

I just felt like reviewing because I’m so grateful to live close to such a well respected sushi place. The taste is divine, the size is just right and fairly generous. If you come to eat here you will not be disappointed. It’s run by a lovely woman who is so welcoming and friendly. Whenever I order of delivery apps the sushi still comes perfect! Addendum - went again today and had to feed most of my maki peices to the dogs 😕 Maybe a different chef? Sorry but won't go again. I always went to sushi ya around the corner but they were closed so tried this place. It was very good. In fact I won't be going back to sushi ya, as this is much much better! Fresh salmon, yummy tuna, chicken katsu etc. Big portions of avocado and a great price. Will try their other dishes...
