Went for dinner with 3 colleagues for the first time about 2 months ago to this lovely quaint little restaurant. The staff was extremely pleasant and welcoming and the food was exquisit. It was such a good experience that I have been back quite a few times since then, On Sunday the 29th Nov, the friendly owner Adriaan,was kind enough to open the restaurant for our 30th wedding anv for lunch, whereby we treated 30 friends to a 3 course meal, which once again cannot be fault. After spending the afternoon with a friend, we decided to have dinner together before dropping her off at her home and we stopped at Thai Isaan Restaurant. I have to say we could not have been happier with our decision. It was still early evening therefore the restaurant only had a few customers. We were greeted at the door by a friendly gentleman who showed us the table. From that point onwards things only got better. The worst experience! Ordered a meal to be delivered at 7.00pm. Wife calls at 7.15 “where’s our food?”. “Oh, I’m still waiting for the driver”…. I call at 7.30, same question. “I’m still waiting for a driver, what do you want me to do? You’re not far away could you come get it?” 🤦‍♂️. Excuses of “we’re very busy”. I arrive to see three tables of people.

The curry came with no rice 🍚, what Asian restaurant makes you order rice with a curry?! Oh, this one.

For $60 there was stuff all food. The owner needs to think past his own interests and think about who he’s serving.
