Norimaki by Noodle Corner — Restaurant in Marlborough

Good service, terrible food. Not 'authentic' at all. Ordered Thai Basil pork - Thai spicy. Came w overwhelming mountains of old bamboo shoots that makes the whole dish foul. Not spicy at all, a few stands of Basil that didn't have much tastes. Only Thai basil dish that I had ever tasted that comes w bamboo shoots - overwhelming lots. I go Thailand very often. Can't bring myself to finish the food, as the smell is too strong. Waste.

Friend's garlic pepper pork rice.. is covered w zealous garlic n pepper. Not sure what we r tasting. Not Thai taste, maybe some remote...

Unassuming yet delicious, service and atmosphere were average. We ordered two katsu chicken and rice meals for takeaway, the shop did not seem particularly busy (3-5 customers) and our meal took approximately 15 minutes. The wait did not bother us however the store was not particularly inviting to wait in (hence the takeaway). Pad Thai ingredients was fresh and you can tell it from the bean sprouts. Miso soup was delicious and the Takoyaki was okay, like the Takoyakis that I had in Japan wheras the outer part is cooked and the inner part was only half cooked unlike the Takoyakis that we have back home - it was cooked all the way through inside. It is way better to dine here in Norimaki rather than in Futomaki Port...
