We had a lovely meal at Thai9. The staff were very friendly & attentive. There were lots of food options including vegetarian & keto. I had the spring rolls for a starter, they were lovely, crispy & no oiliness. For my main I had the chicken stir fry with cashews & honestly it was the best I'd had anywhere. The vegetables were varied, fresh, well seasoned & the sauce was fantastic. So many cashews! My partner started with the Tom Yum soup which he really enjoyed & said it had the perfect balance of sour & spicy & for the main he had the Pa Nang curry, which he'd never tried before. It was so beautifully fragrant that when it arrived at the table I wondered if I should have gotten that too.

Very reasonably priced 2 starters 2 mains 1 glass of Sauvignon Blanc all for under $70, you can't beat that.

Yum. Traditional Thai flavours for sure. Panang and Massaman curries were both fragrant and well balanced, pork was thinly sliced and meltingly tender. Crispy Squid (A7) yum-yum yum. Tiny crumbed tentacles, tender to the bite. Faultless 😃

I often find the music in many ethnic restaurants to not quite be the right sound for the venue. Thai 9 had their Beatles playlist on tonight, pleasantly refreshing and enjoyable after a month of forced Xmas music. The Beatles maybe 50 years old, but it had all of us singing along a few times. My family went for dinner last night and we're delighted. From all the restaurants we've eaten at in Blenheim, this one is the only one we would return to repeatedly. Authentic thai flavours, fresh produce and BYO to make it very affordable. Total cost for 2 shared entree platters and 4 mains was only $137. We brought our own wine in.
