Unfortunate experience in emergency/transitional housing. I liked staying here, bar the fact my partner was not allowed to stay with his family. Which resulted in us separating. He was allowed to see the kids 2 times a week for 2 hours. Which for a parent was not easy. While I struggled immensely to be forced to raise 3 kids on my own when I shouldn't have had to. I struggled on one particular day with my children and needed some help before I had a breakdown. I called for help. The one person who was available to help me in my time of need. I was pulled up on it and I explained I was at a weak moment. And was made to feel like it was not ok to ask for help. So was asked to leave. I was not rude or abusive about the situation and I tried to explain that I had a weak moment. I was told if I asked him to leave at that exact moment, I could stay. To be told the next day that I was to leave. It's people like this that make people with severe depression afraid to ask for help, with the fear of not being heard or understood.
I know I'll never be allowed to stay at this management again. (Even on a personal level) Which is why I'm not afraid to Share my...
Read moreI stayed at bings for almost 3 months as I was put there by winz. Bings motel don't clean properly. They don't leave towels, tea towels, bench cloth, bathroom shower mat, or hand towels when needed. They never cleaned my unit at all the last week I was there. The weekend before I left. Bings had noisy drunk guests. When I addressed this to the owner. I was told to sort the guests myself. Me being a guest as well bearing in mind. So I had to call noise control as I had my daughter asleep and they have a no noise policy after 9pm. They also have a policy where you can't have excessive drinking on their grounds. Yet they did nothing about the noisy guests but would complain about my kids making noise during the day. These guys want to improve their reputation yet the owner (John) is so arrogant that I don't think this will ever happen. This was the worst motel I have ever stayed at. If I could give these guys zero stars for how they treated me when I was quiet the whole time I was there except when my boys came to visit then I would. Kids are noisy. They have to put that into account. They picked on us when we never did anything wrong. Zero...
Read moreThe service was fine.. they were able to accommodate early check in which was really helpful however the complex itself is an eye sore - looks like a run down social housing complex. I was so disappointed upon arrival.. this motel is in need of upgrade or even demolishing. The room was clean and tidy however there are nicer rooms available at other motels that are cheaper so I think it is overpriced. No heatpumps.. only a small plug in heater, it was hard to keep the room warm as you could feel the cold coming in through the windows and doors. Not well insulated or sound proof, could hear every person walking past and was kept awake by a neighbouring party until the early hours of the morning. The furniture is very dated, no bedside table lamps and the smoke detector had been covered over with wet toilet paper. I ended up checking into another hotel for my...
