Morena Espresso — Restaurant in Napier

Unfortunately won’t be back. A hot chocolate and a mocha was $17.34, and while lovely with the macadamia milk - that’s extremely pricey. Prices have gone up a huge amount since we started going, and now have a surcharge as well (even the local laundromat doesn’t have surcharges). Final straw was them not clipping our 10 drink ticket for the hot chocolate - apparently only coffee’s now count towards the free drink even though a) we’ve always had it clipped for hot chocolate and b) it’s basically the same price. We were already going elsewhere and only went here for a treat, but that was the last straw. Sad as it’s a nice place, but the economics...

Great little coffee corner, with an unbeatable view. Awesome range of milk alternatives and cabinet bites. Staff all so welcoming and service was fast. Fast becoming a fav little stop.
