Our experience at Casa Ahuriri was nothing short of exceptional! Despite not having reservations, the staff managed to accommodate us at a cozy table for four. The intimate setting immediately set the tone for a delightful evening.
We started with a bottle of Flying Sheep Sangiovese, which turned out to be an absolute delight. The wine complemented the entire dining experience perfectly. The menu offered a tempting array of options, and we opted for the Spaghetti alle Vongole, Conchiglie 'Nduja, and Casa' Tortiglioni.
The Spaghetti alle Vongole, with clams, garlic, parsley, white wine, and lemon zest was exceptional. The clams were undoubtedly the freshest and most tender we've ever had, making this dish a true standout. The Conchiglie 'Nduja and Casa' Tortiglioni were equally impressive, showcasing a perfect blend of flavors and high-quality ingredients.
We had ordered the Insalata with mesclun, pear, walnut, grana cheese, and preserved lemon dressing, expecting it to arrive before our main course. However, it coincided with our meal, which was the only hiccup in an otherwise outstanding dining experience.
To end our meal, we indulged in an aperitif that was nothing short of excellent. The service throughout our dining experience was top-notch, with attentive and friendly staff ensuring our every need was met. The ambience was warm and inviting, adding to the overall charm of Casa Ahuriri.

Read moreThe only couple of things that didn't sit right were the portions of our meals, which were as big as the entire meal but priced triple. If you're on a budget, go for the pizza. Also, at the end when paying (group got together), make sure you repeat what you've had, and let them repeat. When the total comes up, just check it's the same as what you ordered because I paid for all the entrees plus me and my partner. That was $250 I didn't expect, and that's not including the drinks! So, make sure you keep note of who you're paying for. The guy's excuse was that he didn't want to correct it or take it back because others still had to pay. He also said he asked me, but I'm absolutely sure he didn't. When reading out what was on our list, this young guy added all the extras onto me! Why? Because I was the one who made the booking. Apart from that, if you want to enjoy the place, go right ahead—just keep track of what's yours, including anything you took in. They also kept our special candles when clearing the table and didn't...

Beef carpaccio 9.5/10 Presentation is Michelin standard. Loaf crust curls arranged on a thing bed of raw beef. It was very tasty, and the anchovy mayo complimented very well. The best starter on the list.
Persimmon bruschetta 8.6/10 Nice toasted bread, all types of flavor profiles covered. Gorognzola mouse was beautiful.
Risotto 9.8/10 Essentially, it is a complete dish and how a risotto should be. You can tell that the te mata oyster mushrooms were the mvp here, with a strong taste throughout the plate. Sensational.
Pappardelle ragu 8.6/10 Felt like I was eating a deconstructed lasagne. Ragu, definitely, he premium beef and pork used, and pasta tastes fresh, as i was told by the waitress it is made in house. More of a serving is required, in my opinion. It's still a very tasty main.
Overall, I'll be coming back. Their seafood spaghetti made with the in-house seafood broth sounds interesting. Great place...
