Country Bake — Restaurant in North Island

We went for lunch & I chose a salad & cornbeef sandwich. On sitting at a table we opened it to find that the lettuce had brown spickels through it. I took it up to the kitchen where 3 women were there. I explained to them the situation & one became very annoyed saying thats how they brought it from the market. So I asked for my money back which also was received with annoyance,but I eventually got. As walking past the sandwhich cabinet I noticed some more had the same brown spots in them. Another women came over to our table & asked me to 'leave' as I had mentioned this to another customer. Why would they expect customers to eat...

They incorrectly put mince n cheese in the line of steak and mushroom so you can just imagine my disappointment when I bit into it and saw that it was mince… their mocha was NOT foamy at ALL matter of fact it was just as watery as the Whangarei falls. The lady at the front was lovely though and her eyelashes were impressively curled...

Standard food, bakery foods really nice. The cook is really good and I had alot of salmon on my eggs bene but I wasn't a fan off the hollandaise sauce (tasted like it was straight from the bag, which many are but didn't really like this one). Abit pricey compared to the quality and many...
