Turkish Delight cafe — Restaurant in North Island

I love this place and go here all the time. It has great food and is reliably fast. The one improvement I could suggest is that the men be a little friendlier when approached, they come accross very grumpy. I still gove an overall 5 star as the ladies always have a smile and the food is great. The fries are crispy and delicious, the iskender meals and wraps are the best! Definately go back often.

Edit. I have been told English is their second language and can be quite overwhelming which is why they seem less friendly. I see many more big smiles going around now and would like to commend them for truly taking reviews to heart and working to improve. It is a great thing to see any business owners and staff do that....

While the culinary experience at this restaurant is appreciable, I found myself bamboozled by their unconventional serving approach. Ingeniously or otherwise, meals are presented in takeaway containers, with a curious twist – they're served upside down. The box's larger bottom serves as the lid, creating a deceptive magnification effect that makes the portion appear more generous than it truly is. Honestly one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. The lady at the register was extremely rude right from the start, acting like serving us was an inconvenience and even rolling her eyes at us. Plates on the tables were dirty and clearly not cleaned properly, which was really off-putting. The food itself was just average, nothing that made up for the bad service and uncleanliness. Definitely won’t be coming back and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
